Recavo started in a small accounting practice in London, where finance leads kept telling us the same story: the cards worked, but the books didn’t. Receipts went missing, VAT codes were wrong, and month-end ate three days they didn’t have.

We built Recavo to fix the boring half of spend management — the reconciliation, the VAT, the export — and to do it for UK businesses specifically, on UK rails, with the compliance posture that grown-up finance teams expect.
